About the event
Distort Sheffield and The Lughole proudly announce the 6th annual Noise Annoys Festival! On the 22nd - 24th of May 2026, we’re once again bringing outrageously ripping punk and hardcore bands from around the globe to the steel city of Sheffield.
NOISE ANNOYS - NOT JUST ANOTHER FESTIVAL… our lineup aims to highlight bands with members from marginalised groups and to give younger Punx who are just starting out some recognition! Another key priority for the festival is to arrange tours for bands travelling from afar to the festival. We believe this is crucial not only for building a robust DIY network in the UK and bolstering local scenes, but also for recognising the environmental impact of one-off international ‘fly-ins’.
